who am i? I ask myself,
And I will never be able to answer...
Because I myself do not know who I am!

 
They say I'm tender, romantic and kind.
But how long am I going to live with people labeling me with such sweet words?
Life surprises us and changes us through what we hear and suffer.
 

Are these gifts I have received all deserved?
I would love for them to stay forever, if only for a while,
Stored in my dreams... in my imagination.

 
How many doubts often torment me!
How many questions! “What I am, what I did, what I could have done”.
Could I be so different?
 

What I've always been, I've forgotten.
It's not worth remembering and even if you wanted to, you couldn't.
For forgetting it would cease to live, it would no longer exist... it would cease to be.

 
My face could only be seen in the shadow reflected in the mirror.
Mirror where it reflects my past, my present,
And inevitably... the end of my existence.

 
Sleepy every day awake, with the same hope of discovering myself.
Continuing with my gaze fixed on the mirror,
With my tired face, I think about life and another day that arrives.
 

With this immense desire to discover myself that always grows,
I feel the same doubt, which pertinently comes to my thought.
“Who am I?... Who am I?”...

 
Who is this person I'm looking for looking like a dream?
Every minute, hour, I think I've found it, but it was all in vain...
