Breath of Life

Waiting time,
Time to think,
Thinking about what we go through
In our life.

Moments of life,
Happy
moments, Unforgettable moments,
Spent with José, Isolda and Laurinda.

People with pure and big hearts,
People with warm hearts and friends,
People who introduced me to
Penafiel and Peroselo.

Land of José,
Land of Laurinda,
Land where I felt,
A great devotion to Mary.

Land also of small giants,
Portuguese heroes of steep quarries.
Heroes with deformed hands, almost graniteized,
Due to heavy work in stone and forced labor on earth.

I leave from Portugal,
land covered by gigantic stone mountains.
Land covered by cornfields, haystacks,
Colorful vineyards where the best table wine is extracted.

Time to wait,
Time to think.
Think of thanking
José, Isolda and Laurinda.

Enchanted moments,
Moments of affection,
Moments I spent
In a beautiful little house.

Little blue and white house covered in stone.
Little house that smelled like wine.
Inside they burned pine with wood,
Outside was surrounded by red geraniums.

Things to think about,
Think about and remember: A
bell that rings, mass in the church,
Praying the rosary and a motorcycle passing by.

And so continues the rooster crowing
And life in the village.
Place I went and I really liked it.
Place where there… friends I left.
