Breath of Life

Life is an eternal quest.
For what we can't have,
For what we cannot touch,
Achieve or desire.

We live the search for happiness
So desired by many
The search for the loved one...
Often difficult to find.

We live in pursuit of power and having.
Willing through power and having,
Achieving that much-desired happiness,
Just like… finding your loved one.

I see in front of me people with eyes fixed on the void,
Eyes immersed in their lost memories.
They stare only at the paths of their thoughts,
The crooked paths of their quests.

Life is an eternal quest.
Happy are those who do not live this search,
And confidently wait,
The right moment when Life brings them what they are looking for.
